In the early stages of his career, the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan asked for a deal that was considered ambitious from Adidas and Converse. The first official shoe released was the Air Jordan 1, a result of collaboration between Peter Moore and Mr. Jordan in 1985. Featuring innovative air cushioning technology, this sneaker was actually banned by the NBA due to its vibrant colors.

Since its inception, various versions have been introduced. The Air Jordan 1 Mid draws heavy inspiration from the AJ 1 High but boasts a lower construction and an ankle collar that does not rise above the mid-ankle. One of its variations is the AJ1 Mid Carbon Fiber All-Star, sporting a crisp white leather upper, black laces, and overlays, echoing the popular Black & White theme among sneaker enthusiasts. Its white insole contrasts with the black rubber outsole.
