The Air Force 1 Low is a true icon in the world of sneakers, a pair of shoes that has gained worldwide fame since its first appearance on the basketball courts in 1982, especially the Triple White edition. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, just like the Jordan 2, this revolutionary shoe was the first to feature Nike Air technology, providing superior cushioning and unprecedented comfort, now found in all Nike sneakers. Its name references the American presidential plane, symbolizing the superiority and exclusivity of the shoe. Since its initial release, the Air Force 1 Low has become a blank canvas for creative collaborations with artists, designers, and renowned brands, contributing to maintaining its popularity in contemporary sneaker culture.

Released for the first time in 2002, the Air Force 1 Low Retro QS West Indies has been redesigned in a modern version in 2022, a special edition still paying homage to the famous Caribbean carnival in New York, Crown Heights. This latest version was specially created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the legendary AF1 and was unveiled in the height of summer on August 26, 2022.

The Air Force 1 West Indies maintains the classic features of the iconic silhouette. It features a premium white leather upper, but with colorful details. Just like the Dunk Low in collaboration with Jarritos, the vibrant colors and tropical patterns add a touch of freshness and distinctive style to this special edition. The AF1 West Indies showcases a dark green outsole, a color that is also found on the West Indies Nike collar, the rear reinforcement where the Nike branding appears in yellow, and the tongue tag label, embroidered with "West Indies Anniversary Edition" in lemon yellow. A branded lace lock appears as usual on the West Indies Nike pair, and finally, the Brooklyn carnival logo embroidered in green, yellow, and red is displayed above the midsole.
